Default Dallas Accord Nub!

Hey all-

Just joined the boards today. I own a 2004 Accord LX (4dr) and love it. I purchased it back in 04 so the bad boy has 50k miles and is about 6 years old. It's gone through a bad wreck with me and drove away from it, so I will probably be a lifelong Honda owner.

I am a 23 year old accountant that is currently in graduate school and preparing to take the CPA sometime next year. I love all sports but especially football and basketball as I played both at Garland High School in Dallas. I trade stocks most days of the year but try not to lose too much money, haha.

I know I love my car, but I know I don't know much about my car. I am here to learn and I will try to refrain from asking too many dumb questions.

The main reason why I am here is because I am looking to make a few additions/mods to my accord. I like it as is but am looking for some new wheels and the offset is really throwing me off. I purchased some TSW 18" chrome wheels about 3 years ago, but they are so heavy that I notice a difference in my acceleration and gas mileage. They also rub when I hit potholes or big dips. They stick out about a half inch too far and I am no longer sure which offset I need for this Accord. I've done research and it looks like I need +55mm offset but I am still not 100% sure!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for having me!
Matt
