Default hello from san diego

Just got me my first car and honda. 1990 accord ex for 800 dollars damn good deal right? well any way its a bucket and its been giving me problems, ill be sure to be asking for a lot of help here. current project replacing the radiator, water pump and the timing belt. Im broke and eager to learn since i have no prior experience working on cars, ill be doing it all my self any books or websites anyone can recommend me to get me in the right direction?

If you plan to do a lot of the repairs yourself I strongly recommend you start off in the right direction and invest in a Haynes manual for 94-97 Accords. They are costly ($30 for me) but are totally worth it. The manual is based on a complete tear down and rebuild! Oh, and welcome to the forums!

@Cody thank you ill look up the book hopefully it may have had a price drop since you bought it haha but ill definitely buy it either way. @livetorice thank you, i have only been looking around since last night and already found some good posts on fixing what i need to.

also you can download a manual for free right here on this website in the DYI section.
It is what I use, I just print out the info I need from it if I am doing something difficult.
