Default Hi I am new from co. and have a simple question

Hi my name is bergin I live in co. and I am not new to honda but new to the accord f seen. I have a 91 it has a f22a4 the front cam seal keeps going out I see the last person that had the car put a nice scratch on my cam just where the seal rides.
So I need a new cam................ But is there another cam out of another f engine that has a bit more lift and duration + wont mess up my cam timing? I wont to stay non vtec for the moment just stop the oil leak lol.

Any one live around the co. springs area?

The cams are likely the same lift and duration... if you don't get the same cam, you'll need tuning. So you're $100 used cam suddenly turns into a $500+ investment.

Lol, how ironic. I've chipped an ECU or two as well, no tuning though.

You could try that cam if you find a cheap one, but to me it's not worth it.

Have to replace it any way or I will still leak oil. All the cams cost the same at the yard so.......... Do you have any cam specks for the F. I found the cam lobe heights in the manuals but that doesn’t tell me much just that the a6 has a bit more lift.
.
So I think the f22a1,a4 and a6 head are all in the same class. Do you know if the f22b1,b2 components swap back to the a class or not? What one is vtec b1 b2?

I don’t know **** about the F and swap ability.
