Default Hiya, UK V6 Coupe owner here

Hi folks

Just bought myself a 1999 V6 Coupe, 44,000 miles, 1 owner, in dark blue.

Thought I'd join this forum too, as the car is a lot more common in the USA than it is in the UK.

Cheers

WELCOME!
Picture of the car? I thought the Swindon-built cars were different. Maybe that's not true for the coupe?

I believe its a RHD version of the US built Accord Coupe. Honda stopped selling these cars here in early 2002. Its actually a pretty rare car here as UK buyers tend to be a bit snobby with brands, and will only buy a coupe with a 'BMW' or 'Merc' badge on. But heres some pics of the car. Must say, for the age, its as good as you are going to get.

Thanks chaps. Definately an Ohio built car. I believe this model sold pretty well in the USA didnt it?

Was considered a 'flop' in the UK, not because it was a bad car, but because there simply wasnt a market for a 'soft coupe' anymore. In fact coupes have generally died a death here unless its a CLK.

Marysville Ohio plant has built JDM (and apparently also UKDM) cars for export.

Remember...
JDM doesn't mean it was BUILT in Japan. It just means it was built FOR Japan in compliance with Japanese rules.
Same think for EDM (Europe) UKDM (guess where), and wherever else.
