Just purchased 2008 EX V6 review
What a horrible vehicle. So much for that test drive around the block. I knew I should have rented one first, but my truck died, and I didn't have the time. First the ride. You get majorly jolted by every pothole, expansion joint, and pebble. Good dental work is a must. Interior road noise...annoying. Seats, hard as a rock; I am hurting after a 30 minute commute. The headlights are like having two flashlights tied to the bumper;illuminate a very small patch of road in front of the vehicle. They couldn't even get the steering wheel right. No place to rest your hands comfortably while driving. The arm rest is too low to place your leftarm. And that is what I found after owing the car forjust two days. I have never owned a pickup truckthis bad. It would cost me a fortune to upgrade this car to a usable vehicle, so I do not expect to keep it too long.
I don't get the appeal? Help me out. Maybe the engine or the looks?
Any ideas about at least improving the ride. Different suspension components. Will I need to replace the 17" wheels with 16" ones so that I have at least some rubber cushion? Will that mess up the ABS, gearing, computer calibrations, etc? Not to mention the thousands of dollars in parts. I can't type any more. I am sick to my stomach.
