New Accord Owner
There are two very good pieces of news---
First, I bought a 2005 Honda Accord, 4 door, 5 speed manual, sedan.
Second, the Nissan POS that suffered horribly from old car disease in a hundred different ways is sold and out of our lives.
I did a lot of homework for this car - I wouldn't say I'm **** but I am cautious with my salary. This car is and has been such a postive development and the fact that I haven't had millisecond of buyers remorse tells me that all is right.
We held our noses for about 8 years with a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder that wormed its way into our lives through a complicated family issue. A few years ago I went into a very resigned I'll-drive-it-till-it dies attitude - even though it shook our internal organs like it was on a timber road. I was getting a bit embarrassed with it since in Toronto, as in most cities, new and shiny is favoured over old and dull.
Great to have a smooth ride.

RE: New Accord Owner
I have added a 1 1/4" hitch (for a bike rack) and bought some of the OEM roof racks (they work well). I am considering/saving for a bug deflector and new wheels and tires. The plastic factory wheel covers look pretty bland.
I am on this voyage of discovery with this new car and will probably thing of a few more upgrades over the next few months.
Any upgrade suggestions?
I am not into super big bling (chrome wheels are too far) - just want to get my brother in law drooling a bit (he is a great guy - he just has a new/shiny fixation and I want have a car he envies at least once).
