new guy from Denver 94 cd7 2dr
Just bought this for 800 2 weeks ago. I've already done the wheel hubs, oil presure sending unit, tps, IAC and 02 sensor. Engine swap is still in the planning stage but I'm thinking about a boosted f23a1 or build the stock f22b1 for boost.

How many mie on the F22, many of them in "stock" help up well to low boost.
The F23's are pretty easy to find with low miles so that is a good idea as well.
What are your end goals for the car......simple boost at ~8 psi on a good tune?

End goal is 250-300 whp. From what I have read on the f series engines 10psi on a tune will net somewhere around 280 on stock internals. It's my dd so I'm keeping the exterior as stock as possible to avoid being harassed by the cops But I still want to be able to hang with stis evos and srt4.

Yea, we aren't about all the "hate" you can find on some sites....trust me I'm a member on a few.
If not sure of the current motor you can do some tests (compression and that) that will give you "some what" of an idea of it's health.
Again, if you have the funds, a low milage f23 can be found for pretty cheap. So going with that option you can do alot of the "pre-work" on the engine and still have the car for "daily" use. Heck you can even plan and do some of the "car work" on weekends and keep use of the car (fit the inter cooler, some of the plumbing, ect).
Again the biggest thing I can suggest is plan, plan and plan again. Then compare that final plan to your budget. If the budget doesn't fit the plan, adjust the plan - don't "skimp" on the budget to fit the plan.
Once the two come together, that is when you start......and keep to the plan.

Hang on.....This is where planning comes in.
I'm willing to bet your "tuner" would rather work with an OBD-I set up....I can't tell the trim on your 94 but look for an ecu from a 94-95 EX (vtec) - matched to your trans (auto or manual)
