Hello -- I'm a member of several other forums, this is the first Accord-only forum I've found so far. Thanks for providing this service to the Accord community.

I drive a pretty rare Accord so I am looking forward to seeing if anyone has the same car I do (06 sedan, v6, 6 speed.)

Been in the auto service business for years (I work at a Nissan dealership now.)

Welcome to the forum! I believe you are correct in the rarity of your car. I have not seen many V6 6speed sedans.
You should be able to find lots of useful information on this site and hopefully you can contribute some useful information as well!

*nods*..when I bought it (Jan 06) there was one other on the lot, but it was black, and I don't care much for black on black cars here in Texas summers. Since then I have yet to see another one anywhere. (ebay, used car lots, etc.) Would be interesting to see total production #'s from Honda for that combo. It sure is a blast to drive, picking on unsuspecting cars everywhere. ("I got beat by a 4 door Accord? No way?!")

I think one other person I met on another forum had one. I won't be buying an 08 since they dropped the 6 speed option (if it hadn't been available on mine I would have bought an Altima SE-R or a preowned BMW 5 series.)

..says the man with the 03 M3

All kidding aside, I drove around in an 03 M3 convertible for a couple days. It was nice, but I couldn't get the SMG gearbox to shift smoothly. It seemed to be real hard to get it to accelerate smooth off the line, and shifts were really jerky even in the "automatic" mode. I'd like to try one with a traditional 6 speed (in that neat blue color, please..)

i did my best to be sensible when I got my accord...always buyers remorse I guess...

if you're ever in flagstaff, look me up. take it for a spin (with me in it of course).... its a 6sp...blue, but not LSB, which is what I would guess you are thinking of.

Yeah, the bright blue (Chrysler used to call it Electric Blue, Nissan calls it Blue Sapphire or Daytona Blue) -- ooc, what does "LSB" stand for?

Sensible is overrated!
