Hello Everybody, this looks like a pretty good forum so far, its been a while since I've been a part of an Accord forum, I think the last one I was in is no longer around, lol, I guess my car has been running pretty good!

Anyways, I own a 2001 Accord Coupe EX V6 Black w/ Blue Pearl. I am the first real owner I guess, was a program car til about 32k miles when I got it in 2003, or maybe it was 2004? Currently has just over 130k.

Not sure what everyone else is into here, since I haven't looked around much yet. But my car has an upgraded stereo system. Kenwood CD player, MB Quart Components up front, Alpine 6x9's in the rear. Audioque amplifiers and a single Audioque 12' subwoofer. Best sounding system I've had yet and the loudest, even compared to my old Accord which had twice as many speakers, lol, I didn't know much in my college days, just that a lot of subwoofers looked cool in a trunk.

The pics show my summer wheels/tires. I had the car repainted with the stripe added. My car was never garaged up until then and had a lot of clear coat fading. The idea was to make the car look as if Honda offered an SS package or something, I didn't want it to look too outrageous so car enthusiasts of all types would appreciate it.

I also added some other electronic goodies, custom installed a radar detector and a police scanner , plus an anti-shift device. (I install police equipment for a living.)

I have not done anything performance-wise mainly because the car still performs and excites me just as much as when I first drove it. I keep track of my gas mileage religiously too and it has been very consistent over the years.

I do a lot of electrical work on vehicles of all kinds, when I'm not underneath a dash board I play drums, guitar, fix/remodel my house. I also have a '67 Chrysler that I'm always doing something to as well.

Cool, I like to play around with mine as well. Not so much on electrical things but I'm getting better . You should see some of the audio stuff KHA has done on these, he is currently playing with his new Accord.

What kind of Chry do you have?

Thanks for joining and hope you will help others out when you run across something you've "played" with before
