Default New Member in SoCal looking to buy 2013 Accord

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and I currently have a 2010 4 door ex-L and looking to buy a new 2013.

Couple of questions:
1. What are you guys with 2013's getting with the 4 and 6 cyl on fuel economy( I drive 65 miles per day all hwy to work currently)
2. I'm bummed the 6 cyl has the LED day time lamps and not the 4. Is there an aftermarket solution
3. What are some of the bugs on the 2013's?

Thanks,

Clyde

Welcome to HAF.

I've read about the hands free device and text message issue. Some have a noise from the front. There are a few threads on here detailing some of them. But you have to remember it is new and the dealer is going to have to fix it . Example, there is an "update" already for the radio/phone issue.

Thanks for the heads up

are there any sponsored sites for LED kits?

Thanks!

Not sure. Might look at some of our sponsors and see if they have anything yet, still kind of new

I've had my V6 Touring model for a couple weeks now. I'm getting about 40mpg on the freeway going 68. I drive 60 miles to work and back each day on mostly flat roads. I haven't had any problems with it so far and don't anticipate any. All the electronic gadgets seem to be working fine as well.

I picked up the v6 yesterday. I could have lived with the 4 CVT but having the extra power passing all the yahoo's on the 405, 55 and 91 is much welcomed!

The blue tooth is much better, stereo I think is a little worse(not as much bass), ride is quieter and the new features are awesome.

I've been averaging 34 on the highway on my 32 miles in to the office.

Hello New Member..Welcome.
All the new cars have their little quirks with them..Start writing them down then send a registered letter to Handa for advice if the dealer can't help you out...
