Newbie in the house
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a white 2001 accord ex coupe. The only modification i have done to it is put a greddy exhuast on it. Im looking to either lower it or put new rims on it. Any suggestions to what i should do first? thanks.

RE: Newbie in the house
figure out whats important to you , style or performance , when i started my thoughts were first about the handling performance, to me, you build a base by which your car handles properly, so lower it by using a good coilover kit that gives you adjustable options for driving conditions you encounter, i bought rims and tires at the same time, bigger wheels
15" to 18" also improves road hugging ability and in conjunction with the coilover kit gives the car a nice agressive stance.
my only regret, i did not go to 19", lessons learned.
then think about upgrasding brakes. stopping is important!!!! build a solid base for which you can add power later.
this is my theory and the way im looking at it

i like the style of the new coupes.. very sharp saw one with some kick butt rims them other day, they lack power though these cars... im sure they can be boosted though. i think the marketing is genius though, they are creating a nice nice with the younger crowd, 20 something's i guess

RE: Newbie in the house
I stopped handling the Katannas, but I thank you for the thought anyways...
I've kept the R-1 Racing Wheels and The Symbolic Wheels as My 2 main companys now, I've had them both for going on three years now and I trust them to be made right (American Made) so that is where my wheel interest is going to stay focused..My off line wheels will stay as The HPRacing line...
