Hey guys, I'm new here. Mine is a 2007 Honda Accord V6 EX. It got 175,000 miles on it. I put Full Synthetic Engine Oil all the time when change the oil once for every 3000 miles. How often would you guys suggest me to change the engine oil? Because sometimes I feel like 3000 miles is too early to change for Full Synthetic oil. Could you please help me

 

what does the manual say? Depending on your driving style you can be good with as little as one change a year

 

That is way too early even for traditional oil. You should be at least waiting for the oil meter to get down to 10%. I change mine between 7500-8000 mi. My 07 has around 198k and it's had full synthetic since the break in period. I also get my oil analyzed at least every 20k

 

I typically use Castrol Edge 0W-20 and change it every 10,000 miles; even that is conservative on one of these engines.
