Default Viper Alarm System!!

im trying to find my valet button in a 97 accord but cant frikkin find it anywhere! the remote still works to lock and stuff but a few weeks ago the auto start randomly turned off. just curious as to where this button is to reprogram it! if you could provide a picture that would be fantastic!

locations vary based on the installer. it should be in reach of the driver to facilitate programming.

i'd start by finding the brain, determining which wires are for teh valet switch, then tracing those wires.

i found the valet switch and followed every programming instructions i could find on google! the remote completely works and when i try to remote start the car it seems to work (lights flash and all) but the car doesnt actually start... whats wrong?

looking around google and its shows that it wont start if maybe my hood isnt "closed" all the way, i recently took the hood latch out but idk if thats what did it.
