all those goodies are find and dandy, but the TUNE is the most important investment you can make. More then 10psi? You better find a good tuner first then plan a build.

Piece your turbo kit 2geather it will be cheaper and you will get better quality parts. But like thinkmoto said the tune is goona be your best investment.

from firsthand experience installing a kit similar to this one myself DO NOT BUY IT. The turbos are usually good, but the rest kinda sucks. The oil lines leak or break, the boost control system is usually not good and all of the intake pipes have to be custom cut and fit. If you are going to do this yourself and have limited experience then find a better quality kit. if your going to have this done by someone and are trying to save a little money then go for it.

btw you will need fuel and ignition upgrades before a tune.

plus you will need a custom downpipe and it is a pain to find a place for the innercooler much less run the piping for it. dont get me wrong i love the turbo on mine but its a difficult install space wise. As long as you get good parts all should go smoothly. oh and if you want to be pushing more than 10-15 Psi i would say build the engine...especially a VTEC.

I agree with lot of what you say...except for the vtec thing. sohc vtec is pointless it’s not made for performance it’s for economy. If you want vtec go with a g series vatack set up.

haha i tried making my own turbo kit a couple years back and i had little experience and the things leaked all over the place. Definitely know what you're doing or try and find someone that does if you're going to do it yourself.

i've bought part of my kit on ebay and don't regret it. works like a charm and i've had it for over 3 years... though I did buy the oil lines separately and did took a whole day to get the intercooler piping done right, but it worked!

I used a ebay kit on my old celica, and as a platform for my olds cutlass ciera. It was great, because I was able to piece it all together, and just upgrade parts as I could afford. My biggest issue was fabbing the exhaust manifold on the olds. But you definatly will need to get with someone who knows what they are doing, for advice, and for help when you need it.
