Talking 2007 Accord V6 Turbo Project - J35A5 - Input Appreciated

I have an 2007 accord 4 Door V6 EX-L w/NAVI. I have taken care of my car since I purchased it and will be turbocharging the car soon. I am in the process of acquiring parts and gathering information to ensure I make the best possible choices and in an effort to learn from anyone and everyone willing to help. I have seen other accords that were turbocharged but most of them are older cars around 1991 - 1998 era. I have also been in contact with someone who has boosted a 2004 accord. He has been a wealth of information but is not as accessible as he is a busy person so any input would be much appreciated. I will be posting some pictures of my ride soon and will be taking pictures of the car throughout the project. Finally I will be placing a high res video on youtube as well. For starters. This is what I have so far...
  • 2007 Accord V6 EX-L Navi - 4 Door Automatic
  • TEIN Lowering Springs
  • K&N Intake
  • Lightweight Wheelset 17x7.5 w P235 45 W17 Dunlop Signature Series Tires
High Flow Exhaust Mufflers (Flowmaster 44)
  • Computer Chip (Generic Mods)
I am planning to purchase an AEM FIC Model #1910 Unit this week.

Has anyone had any experience with this AEM unit. How difficult are they to work with once software has been installed on your laptop?

Thanks,

well with your car being a auto you have 2 options if you want to boost it. Either swap for a manual trans or build your auto for your power goals. Honda autos don't like anymore power over stock really...they start to fail quickly. The tq and hp for a turbo engine will just eat up your auto trans.

Unhappy Honda Autos Don't Like much extra power...

I've heard there are a lot of guys in Canada who have converted to a 6-speed manual tranny on the accords from 2003 - 2007. Has anyone done this? If so, can you tell me what I will need to do the conversion? Do I need to change out the ECU? Where can I get a new speedometer/display/dash?

I'm not sure what is all involved in the 6speed swap as I'm not much of a v6 guys (I chose not to be) I only play around with the 4 bangers. But I know if you search around google you will find how to's on swapping over to the 6speed trans

I have been looking everywhere and still having trouble finding out how to accomplish the swap.

the v6's are kinda hard to boost for what I have read online. Not much space in the engine bay most everything has to be custom made (that will cost big bucks!)..also your limited on aftermarket parts.

...maybe look into a supper charger that is the turbo style (a turbo that is belt driven)..thos have become fairly popular
