f22b1 Seadoo SC
seadoo supercharger on a f22b1. 6psi of boost is 6psi of boost, but if i rigged up a $250 above mentioned SC and a small smic for $350 total what drop in torque could i expect from such a mod? I havn't found a thing about SCing a f22b1, has anyone else? Cause 350 is even cheaper than a ebay turbo kit and i'm not looking for much more than 6 psi cause im raising compression as well.

well first of all that supercharger will not just bolt on. you will need a custom fabricated manifold to mount it to you existing intake runners or directly to the head. then you will need pulleys, belts, and potentially modifications to the engine bay with spacing. this will not be an easy or cheap task by any means. youre better off finding a supercharger off a cobalt or mercedes or something and going from there. all ive heard about supercharging these motors is its very costly and difficult. for all the money you will spend you couldve just bought a good turbo steup and built your motor and still make way more power.....my 0.02.
a guy sc'd an older accord from 90-93 but it was only because he swapped in an h23 with a jackson sc on it. still very expensive.
but to answer your power question. at 6 psi from a sc off a seadoo you wont see much power. it will only breathe on the low end and the top end will suffer greatly. just do a turbo if you have the skills, knowledge, money to do it correctly.

I would have to agree ^^^. By the time you fab. everything and it’s all said and done you will spend the money that you could to turbo your car. With 6punds of boost you won’t even make as much power as a h22.

What's the displacement of the engine that SC comes from? What's the redline?
If it makes 6psi boost on that specific engine, that doesn't mean it makes the same boost on any other engine. It depends on air flow. Displacement x RPM is the simple way to get a preliminary grip on what it'll do.

f22b is dohc 2.2l thats a JDM only. They are like the h23 engines with 85mm bore not 87mm. They make like 5 or 10hp less then h23...but pretty much same engine. Veryy good engine at that too
