8-10 psi. your engine can hold that without a prob. Make sure you use good parts and get a very good tune. You should see 270-290ish hp with the right turbo

Hey guys, I have a 98 Accord LX. Just got an imported motor. The same exact one. f23A1 i believe with around 40-60k. The car has a turbo but since the the motor has no internal work done will it mess up? I have 3 friends telling me 3 different things.

Friend 1: You can run up to 7psi before you have to do internal work.

Friend 2: You have to have internal work done to it PERIOD, or it will ruin your engine.

Friend 3: You need to swap out your Cam or it will blow it.

I really don't want to spend anymore money on the car but if i have to I will. I would be using it for daily driving not racing, maybe just here and there on lonely night rides home from the gym.

Would it be possible to not do any internal work to it and be able to drive it daily? How much would the internal work amount to?

Sorry for posting in this thread but i couldn't find the sub thread.

Thanks in advance
