turbo or super?

RE: turbo or super?
yeah they do.
i would recommend a turbo because its powered by exhaust that would usually just be wasted and a supercharger is powered by the engine which in turn would take some power away from it.
but what do i know.

SC for reliability and ease of use and tuning ..... IF the SC itself is not centrifugal.
Turbo for more power with less work, but tune is key to longevity. Reinforce all vacuum lines to ensure that you don't lose your intake reference and kill your motor. Also, if the only SC is centrifugal, you might as well get turbo since the cent. SC has all of the problems of both systems without the full power of turbo.
If you drive lightly, the turbo will have much better mpg. If you drive hard, the turbo has the ability to use much more gas as well.
Both systems require premium fuel as protection from knocking.
Turbo could cost much more depending on what accessories that you want. Also related to the uncertain operating conditions that is the nature of a turbo system whereas the SC is always spinning at a set rpm compared to the engine rpm.
Bottom line, it's your decision.

I'm pretty sure that the one in your video is centrifugal (Comptech). Granted the video is a bit grainy, but I'm pretty sure that what you see in front of the engine is the SC drive shaft. According to the comments, there's a bag of ice on the volute. Another indication is the pipe that goes into the intake manifold. I could be looking at it wrong, but I don't think so.
