Default 06 V6 Coupe

so, i was wondering does anyone own an 06 V6 Coupe by any chance? i was thinking that would be a sweet ride to have, and i am tired of driving a sedan. plus i was reading the specs on that engine and its one sweet ride. seems like a solid car. so, basically i am asking would anyone recommend an 06 V6 Coupe?

I'd go for the 06 V6 over the 99 Auto any day of the week.... I haven't heard many complaints about the 06's besides the fact that you're going to lose some fuel economy if you have the I4 right now.... But you gain the reliability of the 06's tranny vs. the 99

with 244 horses and gas mileage that is pretty high in my opinion that's the best of both worlds. beats those american cars that produce raw power, but that doesn't yield good mileage.

A thousand bucks and no water pump and tensioner is highway robbery!!!! Even with the parts that price is high. It sounds like you need to shop around fr a new dealer Yeu!!!

yeah i test drove an 05 accord coupe (dealer didn't have any v6's today) but anyways the i4 is a big improvement over the last i4. at least it seems a lot quieter and provides pretty good acceleration. lost my sunglass case i think somewhere at one of the dealers i visited (non-honda i think cause that's when i realized it was gone). probably fell somewhere in the snow sigh. anyways, i think that the 7th generation coupe looks really nice, and i hope to own one soon! i would say that the t-belt job shouldn't be too bad, a lot of times they will give your free timing belt (as in the part) so that can take off $30. however, i agree with you guys that its the most expensive job maintenance wise.

also, i don't feel that comfortable around other dealers. i also was freezing like crazy at other dealers that didn't even bother to come out and talk although the dodge dealer did, but still i didn't feel comfortable with that person cause he didn't let me test drive the car he was test driving it lol. falklore maybe you should get your teabag out. there is no place like home like the honda dealer in my opnion.

the only one issue that i ever had with this dealer was walking a few miles because the shuttle service driver was on lunch break. luckily, it was summer!

$1000 sounds really high to me i would think $700 or $800 unless you are in nyc, chicago, los angeles, or san francisco. although, they are moving the labor rates higher each year.

Actually the Honda dealer I bought from does a coupon every year around Christmas time for like $500+ or something like that... yeah when you get there they tell you about the Water Pump thing, but they have a price set up so you can get that done and still use the coupon. Closer to $800-$900 range.. but really it's the only serious maintenance item I have to worry about for another 7 years (if I even drive it that long) so what's so bad?
