What to do? im 20 and i dont want to be cheap nor do i wanna spoil my girl whats a good idea ?

 

I'm 20 as well, and just had my 2 year anniversary... For one year, I got her a promise ring. Simple, yet very meaningful.

As far as I know, a promise ring is like saying "I promise I will ask you to marry me sometime in the future."

If I were you, I would buy her flowers and take her out to eat at a nice restaraunt.

 

D@mn JK ..... earlier today you were asking how old a guy's daughter was because you are "playing the field"!!!

For my last gf, I told her that I was kidnapping her for her birthday weekend and brought her to Hershy Park for the weekend. If you go there, there is a place called Alfred's Victorian that you have to try for dinner. It's a bit expensive, but one of my favorite restaurants (~$100 for 2 .... I think we got a bottle of wine too, but you don't need to worry about that at your age It was a great weekend, but at 20 might be a little out of the budget. I think all included, it came to about $500-600.

 

^ Yup. Promise ring means you both are promising to marry each other and all that jazz.

If its coming up soon, of course be excited that its your one year but act all "eh" about what you should do. Maybe tell her youll do a movie or what not. Then surprise by taking her to a fancy restaurant.

For my g/fs one year I told her I was gonna take her to a movie. But, I picked her up, we went to Biaggis (a much fancier and more authentic Olive Garden), then went mini golfing, then got some deserts ate DQ, and walked around at a super nice park while enjoying our tasty treats! Big time brownie points!

For our 2 years which was a month or so ago, we both were really busy and either of us didnt have much moola. I took her out to dinner anyways, and I gave her a card and some coupons that I made! hahaha she LOVED it!
I scanned an actually coupon from the Sunday paper (the glossy kind that is a single sheet and has one coupon for product x on the front and y on the back). So I scanned it, went into paint, used the paint brush to make it all stand out and not faded. Then I inserted my picture in the middle of the coupon and one was for a movie, and one was for dinner. Of course like all coupons I had the small print disclaimer[8D]no musicals or stupid expensive restaurants! lmao

Ill post it on here I suppose..... Though I look stupid in the picture on purpose.

 

Wow, it seems as if my spelling has crapped out lately.

Also, I look stupid in the pic which was on purpose. And the quality went crappy after I edited my last name out in paint. It looked waaay better!

Might seem sort of stupid...or really stupid to other people but I though my gf would like it and she did! Sometimes creativity and putting a little work into something w/o spending tons of cash will bring her as much if not more happiness! hehe
