Some neighbors just bought 2 new Hyundais. 2010 Azera about a month ago, then they just got a 2011 Sonata. They look real nice, but I haven't driven them to see if I REALLY like them.

 

We didn't take one out for a test drive, so if you do indeed get to drive or ride in it, please post your impressions.

I have driven them all and they handle very well and they have power out the Kazoo (old time term)..

My friend is a Gold Certified ASE Mech who has even been to Korea to work on and learn about their cars..Including there new diesel engine.

He tells me many things that the customers dont have privy to..but I do and I love what I hear..

I am more than Likely going to order another new one and trade in the 2004 Sonata I now have.
If I do ..it will be the Limited Model in Venetian Red with the Wine Leather Interior which they dont want me to have at this time Trying to talk them into giving me what I'd like there. By the way they call the model a 2011 already...

Is the accelerator "fly by wire"? If it is, when you suddenly floor it, does the engine respond as quickly as a, say, 1992 Accord? (I'm not asking whether it accelerates as fast, just whether it responds instantaneously when you "floor it".)
