Default 35 dollar oil change?

my brother's 2004 TL requires him to go to the dealership to get an oil change because only they are able to reset his computer and they charge him 35 bucks for it.
do you guys know of any other cars which need this kind of maintence?
like the new 06 civic or accord?

there is no need to reset the computer after an oil change,, or do you mean reset the lite which tells you how much oil life is left ,, if that is it ,, you can do it yourself by reading it on the owners manual..
35 dollars is too much

you can also take it to your local HOnda dealer if they are running a $20 special on oil change and they can reset the system just fine if required.
