Accord generations
I think the Accord just gets better looking with every update... Especially this decade, the design is much cleaner than many of the previous versions.
But if I had to choose from the older models, the stand out vintage Accord for me is definitely the 2nd-gen 1984 LX Hatchback...

Which generation of the Accord do you like the best?

FWIW...flip up headlights came out in '86'.
from the beginning thru 85, Accords had a bad reputation for hydroplaning in heavy rain.
As a tech, the 90-93 are tops...easy to work on ..lots of room...not overloaded with electronics; the engine and trans have stood the test of time.
I like the 96-97 body style the best of all the years.
But if anybody EVER looked at the difference in the model years, you'd notice that the "GEN" designation is only a way to try to sound hip, cool, suave, and debonaire on the internet.
The models changed every 2 years. '94' is not the same as '97'.

6th gen coupe is the ONLY good looking accord. I'd have to say the 8th gen is the worst looking just because how hard it tries to be cool/flashy. I like how my accord isn't trying to be cool but just easy on the eye, nothing flashy.
Also I don't think classifying the body styles as generations is cool, just a simpler generalization of the different body styles. I think you just feel that way because of the demographic that is generally associated with talking about tuning and "modding" accords online, the younger and less mature crowd. Luckily we have a good batch of regular members here, and not tainted with the filth that plagues the other car related forums.
