HUH? Um, its a brand of cars... I guess you could call it Honda's luxury/performance line... Is that what you are asking?

Thanks guys.

In the UK, Honda have several saloons: i.e. the Jazz minicar, Civic mid range (various trim and engine options) the Accord (various trim and engine options). They are reintroducing the Legend which is a topof the range luxury model, perhaps this is the Acura.

They also have varuious 4 x 4's and off roaders and the S2000 sport coupe (maybe that's a "duece coupe, if my memory of a Beach Boys song is OK).

LoL nah, that Beach Boys song has been around since WAY before Honda brought out the S2000. Duece Coupe was written about a '32 Ford hot rod.

They dont have the Acura nameplate in the UK?

Acura is Honda's Luxury brand sold in the US, not sure if they are sold anywhere else.
It is similar to Lexus here in the UK. They are posh Toyotas!
I think at least some of the Acura range look very similar to the Honda range.
There is another luxury brand in the US, Infiniti which is Nissan.

my avatar is an Acura.

Acura is the luxury division of Honda. Generally they share all of the quirks of Honda. I own one and with a little effort I was able to get over 300HP with simple bolt ons and my setup is not forced induction (supercharged or turboed)

Now you can buy an accord with all the features that my car has but it will cost you more (they don't make my car anymore)

Generally speaking Acuras are more powerful than their honda counterparts. for example you can get an Accord with 240HP and the TL comes base with 258hp and larger displaceemnt engine and even better yet you can get a type S with 286HP and 3.5L

Default Accord legend conversion

Not that i would likely ever get around to doing it, but i guy needs the potential projects rolling around inside the head, y'know to keep you distracted enough about cars to keep the mrs. annoyed and then everything is in balance. But the idea in question it switchin the early 90's accord front with an acura legend. The legened is just considerably more attractive, and has nicer headlights, pimp hood, etc. Do people do this or is it simply to complicated and expesive? If anyone has any information on this or could point me to where i could look that would be great. thanx.

First off, way old thread and wrong thread at that.

Second, of course it would be expensive. The Accord and legend are very similar so it would probably be easier than other conversions, but still difficult. You'd need to know a good body guy and have deep pockets.
