I'm suprised you're the first to comment on that.... If terminology was a "bannable offense" I don't think half of us would be here *L*

Haha...yeah...tomorrow. I'll outshift you! Plus my short shift adapter and SRI adds like 50hp - I need some V-TECH stickers to add another 20hp or so.
But in a few weeks....no thanks. You should be decent at shifting by then. Just don't ruin the clutch too soon[8D]

I think I'll pick it up very quickly .... after all, I have played around with manuals before, just haven't owned one ...... I think it'll take a week to be ok at it and after a month I think I'll be able to shift in most scenarios. Now advanced techniques like you wrote about a few months ago (powershifting, rev matching, etc.) I probably won't even try until mid-summer.

Haha I never powershift. I'm too nervous I'll mess something up if I miss the gear. I double clutch nearly everytime I downshift though. Once you get used to it, it becomes second nature.
When I get into the money pit, I constantly catch myself trying to stomp the clutch down before I crank it. Then I'm like: "Doh!!"

LOL ..... you should put a button under the footrest so you have to push it to crank the car ...... also, don't tell your wife you did it!!! Actually, that would be a decent theft deterent.
