Alliance with Chrysler and Fiat Motors just announced..Fiat makes a car 1000% better than Chrysler..I used to own a Zagato Fiat...wonderful car...as a Matter of fact I was the Lease manager for Fiat in my town untill they pulled out of the USA...

Yeah, just not a smart move on their part to partner up with a company that has always been garbage, and is quickly going under.

In my opinion it is an excellent move, plus I have high hopes of saving Chrysler as it is my favorite car brand....even more than Honda.
Anyways, Fiat isn't allocating any cash funds to Chrysler. Instead they are taking a 35% stake in the company. This will allow both companies to use each others technology. It will be extremely beneficial to Chrysler due to their lack of small efficient cars where as Fiat excels in this category. Assuming the partnership is successful, I would guess after Chrysler borrows Fiats products, Fiat will make them make their products here for a much cheaper fixed cost.
