this is huge, spread it like wild fire
its worked in the past and gas prices dropped
its all over the internet too
carpool, stay at home, do what you need to, even pump today instead of tomorrow
hey, dont pump gas tomorrow, may 15th boycott

Ive been planning this since last month! I wont be @ the pumps 2morrow. It wont really have an effect other than showing them we are tired of their record profits, and that we can colaberate a uniform protest which might scare them a smidge.

Ideally if we just boycott exxon/mobil I think that would have the most impact however it's hard to organize..... I think it will be interesting to see what this ban does....

They will lower it for a week. Then jack them right back up. I'm not dissing the cause, I'm just stating the reality behind it. The gas/oil companies know our dependency on fuel...it's like taking alcohol away from an alcoholic or drugs away from a drug addict.

Damnit all. Why can't they make alternative fuel cars that have the perfomance and ease of gas cars. And to say that technology is reaching its limit. Pfft.

Actually I noticed the gas price went up. $3.17 yesterday to $3.24 today. I didnt buy any though

I too am curious to see the results.

It's around 3.10 in MD. Cheaper at the corner between the ol railroad track and main ($2.89)
