You're technically supposed to change your shocks about ever 30k miles, most people who have no car knowledge what so ever never change their shocks (if you go to the junk yard most of the cars still have the original shocks). My car has 63k miles on it and the original shocks and still rides/handles fine, I figured I'd replace them in the summer when I'll be around 70k miles.

mileage doesn't dictate when you need to change your suspension components.

i would think that mileage would be a great indicator on when to change the suspension, and does anyone have any experience with function form coilovers?
