Default f22b1 head on f22b2

hey does anyone no if a f22b1 vtec head would fit on a f22b2 block...if it does would it fit perfect...and would it be worth it doin the head swap?

yeah it would work as the blocks are pretty much identical, but would not be worth the trouble as the power gains would be minimal.

Yes you can do it,do i recommend it? No,f22b1 only has 15hp or so more than b2s.And correct me if im wrong,but if your trying to make your car vtec,a head swap will not make it happen,without...solenoids,oil lines,and sensors for vtec to function properly.

alrite...well another question i have a 97 honda accord...but since ob2 ecu cnt be chipped would it be worth it if i converted it into ob1 using the ecu off a 94 but chipd

I am running OBD1 on mine, with a Hondata piggyback unit. If you are going to get a ECU chipped, make it a p28 or p72 or something more common, few tuners have delt with whatever random code is in a 94 accord.

^ x2. If your motor has a knock sensor and you want to use it you'll need a P72/76?. Other popular ECUs to chip are P13 and P28... I have a chipped P28, burner, and chips I can sell you.
