Woah, thats pretty awesome. I mean, you shouldn't skip school, but hey I'll agree that once in a while, it's worth it to spend some quality time (and gas) with your car

Well, I'm also lazy, so homework doesn't always get done, and AP classes give insane work loads...

But, Staying on topic... Got any stories of quality time with your car?

Yeah, I feel your pain. Stock suspension, and automatic transmission...

You know, it's funny, when you drive, even work is fun, I had to make 3 trips to price chopper today, and even though I probably sound like a tool here, there was this one Integra that came up and met m at a stop light, I pretty much floored it, and blew him away, I knew he wasn't trying, when I finially turned, I heard his engine rev, sounded like he had about a grand on just his engine. (Intake and Exaust at the least) He gave me the "you are a tool look". I deserved it, but oh well. It was fun.

hah.. yeah i had a lancer do that to me yesterday on the way home from my Uncle's place.

He say my tip, i guess he had a tip, and then floored it... we got to the next light and i rolled the window down and asked.. "what do you have under the hood?" he says "nothing, just got a muffler tip and am going to add a blast pack"...

"f*&#in ricer," i thought to myself... "Hey, wanna try that again for $500?"

"Sure, if you don't mind losing it"

I had him before i got out of first gear by at least 2 car lengths...

needless to say, he jumped on the highway and ran like a lil **PLEASE NO FOUL WORDS IN THE FORUMS**.. if it wasn't in the exact opposite direction i needed to go I would have followed him for my money.

Thats pretty funny. The running part I mean, and the you blowing him away part.

Yeah, sounds like me, except I'm not dumb enough to race for money I don't have. You don't race for money if the other guy wants to. It just ain't smart. I knew I couldn't win if he was trying, but I just hate Integra's because everyone steals them, just cuz they think they're racers. What's your car push?

fiik... not much, but easily more than that lancer..

i think they only have 140 stock, and he put a stupid tip on it that looked like a rocket tip so that probably hurt him if anything.. and it sounded like a wet fart.

Well, the OZ Rally that my friend owns, (2002) only pushes about 130 Stock, but he's at about 135-145 with a Typhoon K&N Short Ram Intake. The OZ Rally is the top of their baseline stuff, so, estimate about the same for other Lancers (Excluding EVOs)

At anyrate. I'm kinda hoping I can beat my friends Lancer. My engine's 12 years old, and probably has lost more than a little power, but it's been meticulously maintained, so, I'm going to guess 130, 120 right now, out of it's 145 stock? If that isn't in the ball park let me know.

whp you prolly have about 110. bhp, hard to say.

if I had a job, I would go junkyard shopping for a busted up semi-sports car (Supra, LS1 Camaro, MR2 spyder, 3000GT turbo, etc) and fix it up as a project car. rebuild the engine, do some bodywork/paint job if it needed it.
other than that its the good ol' trusty accord through the twistys.
Although I might get a motorcycle once im out of the house...
