RE: Few Things in Life Are More Fun Than Driving!
Giants are back!
I was in the hospital with Guillan Barre Syndrome, it was teh suckz!
I also lost to a '95 626 V6, and a '95 La Sabre V6... I don't care how lame that sounds, It actually got me off racing cuz I got beat so badly. I probably got caught too, It was in an old sams club parking lot.
Got any suggestions fro upgrades anyone?

I dont often drive like a headcase because I do most miles on the very minor roads on the moors where you can drive for ever and not see another car -plenty of sheep but no cars. But occasionally I let out my death wish. Last time I was driving to see my daughter in Southern England - a trip of around 350 miles. I left home at 3am and completed the journey in just over 4 hours - all motorways. Needless to say, this was not in the Honda but a Manta GTE which you've probably never heard of - just say its a hot German motorway cruiser. The fast averages are because of its weird gear ratios third gear was 1:1, fourth gear 0.8:1, and fifth gear 0.7 : 1. Obviously it took a while to wind up but you could break the national speed limit of 70 in third without breaking into a sweat. Odd car. I ended up owning four one after the other. I broke one coming off one of the passes between dales - 4:1 descent with a switchback at the bottom. I got all 4 wheels off the ground, came down hard and broke the diff casing - bits of metal all over the place. Dont do it often but occasionally - nice but only with AC/DC on stereo.

I am not the oldest here, but in '91 gas was $0.86/gal. My dad told me it was $0.05/gal when he started. F'n inflation.

FYI: I just changed my spark plugs in the LX and I am now up to a respectable 30.75 mpg in mostly city driving (I've only been able to check it once though.) I had been down in the 27's for a while there. My mustangs probably got around 15 mpg.

Well to keep the thread alive, just went cruising for 2 hours today and really cleared my head. Lot of stress from school, work, money, etc... These two lowrider s-10 guys tried to flag me down and stop me at a gas station but I kept goin. Just didnt feel like sittin there and telling them stuff about my car that they would forget 10 minutes later. And i'll probably never see them again so, yeah...
