Hi all, been in the market for an 06 Accord EX 4 cyl,AT, found one that has 34000 miles on and is super clean. It's at a new Honda dealership and is 'certified' used. We have an 04 Pilot now with 105000 miles on it and Mommy loves it, bought it new.Are there any itemson the06 Accordthat should concern me being a 'newby'? Mike

No major issues on the 06 accords that I'm aware of. Some people complain that the seats attract lint like steel to a magnet but not everyone.... Welcome to the forum!

Yep, I've read about the 'lent-gitter' seat fabric, leather would take care of that though! Been reading all the mileage posts comparing V6 to 4cyl with interest, unloading our 06 Tundra V8 (15-17 MPG's) so 30mpg's would be most welcome, we do mostly highway driving.....Thanks for the kind welcome Sir -Nasty!

Let us know what you decide!
I've browsed many Accord forums and havent heard many complaints at all about the 06's, so it should be a pretty long lasting vehicle. I would go w/ the 4 cyl, as gas prices are expected to go higher and the recession will continue to worsen.
Just watch out for the early early 2000ish models b/c the transmissions were pretty bad.

I'll chime in on our decision, dealer 'blinked' (called the house) we weren't home, when I left there Thusday he and I were laughing at each other. Wife and I will visit the lot Sunday, she wants to see this car with no salesreps hovering. We're right up against it and really close on the numbers so I'll call 'lowball boy' Monday!

Well, dealership balked on my final offer so I'll regroup and probably sell the Tundra outright. While I'm here though, got some questions.Never had a sun-moonroof before rarely drive with any glass down. We'll have to explore some lesser equiped Accords like LX, what I would like is the dual zone AC-heat so if I have to get the EX for that feature, I will. Most options come in 'packages' but I wouldn't mind the extra headroom of no moonroof.
