the lights actually stick out!NOW THESE ARE A DISGRACE!i like the standard altezza's that don't stick out! but these are just plain horrible and an eye sore when you see them in person!

AS for the coupe!oh my god these taillights below are probably the sexist taillights for that generation coupe,i saw these in person and it was hella sexy:

1. The clock light bulb is out and I'm too lazy to go get a replacement - my wife likes to ask me what time it is an night to tick me off
2. The cabin air filter is a royal PITA to change

Finch - every now and then it is tough to get it in first gear. I always just hold it in and slowly release the clutch a bit and it goes right in. If you are rolling and want to get it in 1st, double clutch it and it will slide right in.

1. My clock light went out too and I'm also too lazy/waiting to do an LED conversion. My friends whip out their cell phones to check the time and then I kindly point them towards my deck with the clock right on it.

2. I haven't changed this yet...

I'll try the double clutching... is it some sort of safety feature so that you don't accidentally destroy first gear?

i don't think so... maybe it has to do w/ the fact that you both have short shifters on? (just guessing here)

uhm with the 1st gear problem, maybe once or twice every two weeks or so, i'll have a problem putting it into first gear from like a stoplight, but all i do is let go of the clutch, press it in again, then shift again, it shifts fine after that..

yeah, the clock thing is annoying, just click on the map light, and check the time ha

Every Accord I've owned is like that, shifting into 1st. You have to be almost to a full stop. I doubt it was intentionally designed like that. Probably just the way the gears and synchros work together. At least it forces me to be a law-abiding citizen; the drivers around here blow through stop signs like crazy, and I have to either stop enough to get into 1st, or really dog it in 2nd. [:@]

And, I've always liked the flow-through ventilation on my Accords. There's plenty of times when that's just enough w/o having to run the fan at all.

No, it did it before the short shifter too.

4jc, good to know then, I guess. I was hoping it wasn't a worn synchro or something.

Yup. Just the nature of the beast.

One way to look at it,the job of the synchro is to block you from shifting into 1st until the gearset spins up to match the revs where it needs to be.
