i've been 135 in my car when it was stock, well, other than the drop it's still stock

 

135 was the best i made it

havent tried ti since.

 

i maxed out the speedo in my moms minivan...
thats the fastest ive gone so far in a car.
115 and it hit the peg.
funny thing is i was driving to a "defensive driving" course.
lawl.
wouldnt do it again tho, if i get pulled over doing anything more than 5 over bye bye car and bye bye driving. god forbid 50 over.

the funny thing is the fastest ive ever gone while driving was in a snowmobile...
and it was my friend's cousin's dad's snowmobile.
im not going to try going that fast in my car. Maybe when im 18 and dont have to worry about my parents taking away my car. (17 now)

 

I envy you guys that get snow. It snows (I'm considering this snow that actually sticks to the ground and doesn't melt or turn to ice immediately)in Mississippi maybe once or twice a decade. I'm serious. Sometimes in January it will be in the 30's one day, then the next day it will be in the 70's. Frickin wierd in the winter. You never know when you'll need a jacket or when you'll need shorts!

 

You mean to tell me that a smowmobile can do excess of 115 mph? Are we talking about the kind of snowmobile that basically looks like a jet-ski with a track in the rear and ski's on the front and you ride it like a motorcycle?

 

Yeah, a sleds top speed is usually around 110....

5spd, maybe you should move up to Minnesota and you can experience snow that sticks for months and ride snowmobiles at 115.

 

lookup snowmobile drag racing, you'll be amazed at the speeds they can do, not to mention they will smoke a lot of cars out there, some of them have 100+ hp and weight less than 500 lbs and have a huge track for grip... check out some videos

yea LX5speed snowmobiles are basically a 2stroke crotch-rocket on a tread. (along with a CVT)
basically people turn frozen lakes into giant drap-strips.
only problem is hitting a patch of ice with no snow on it. Then you lose all steering and slide all over the place.
