I need help with my purchase of an Accord!!!
Ok, so right now I own probably the oddest combination of cars. I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 SS/T, and a 97 Honda Prelude. Both have mods. Im looking for something else to preoccupy myself and my next door neighbor has a 1991 4dr Accord. The thing is a hunk of junk, but he is offering me a ridiculously good price of $400 for the car and pinks. The car runs, just needs an idle air control valve. Thats it. The car is in what i would say "poor" condition. $400 isnt bad at all but my question is whether or not that car is worth fixing. Any ideas? And if so, send me some pics so I can help my deciding factor.
Here are a few pics of the potential purchase:

Well the question is are you going to mod it or daily drive it? If it's a daily driver and all it need is an IACV, which can be blanked off anyways, I would jump on that deal, but if you're going to mod it and everything I wouldn't bother. That's waaaaaay too much work. Maybe buy it from him, take out the engine/tranny, and junk the rest/sell for parts. You could easily make money with this thing.

Im looking to fix it up to be driven back and forth between Sacramento and where i live (approx. 90 miles) on a weekley basis. But The college I am attending in Sacramento is about 30 miles from where I will be staying. So alot of driving. But I want it to look nice too. You can see I have already put alot of money into my other cars, so this one one will be on the back burner.

Given that info ^ I would seriously consider buying it. Having a beater car to drive around college would be great. My 91 Mustang got all dented and dinged up while I was at college. Not to mention I didn't have any money to put gas in it.

Man .... I posted on this thread yesterday! Anyway, I'd recommend getting it, fixing the FITV problem and selling it for a grand. Quick easy money! A beater car for college isn't a bad idea either, but you don't want to have to deal with further repairs, aka money pit.
