was wondering what u guys think of this rare swap...
besides been a pricey engine what else u think
more torque and power too and more mods

 

K20A4? that is not sold in the US(and the exsistance of it seems to be debatable). and more power and torque? unlikely. Most k20s/24s make like 160hp.

worth the time and heart ache and money over a H22 swap? no.

I can only imagine the wiring nightmare it would be to swap in a k series. Not even including the drive by wire system.

The only way it would ever be worth it is if your planning on building a pro drag car that is going to make 400+hp and run sub 10 second 1/4s.

 

More worthwhile to build and boost the F22.

K series is a 7th gen i4 right? Wouldn't it be better to get actually get a 7th gen then try to swap it?

 

Not if you love your 6th gen . Yes, the K-series are found in Accords, Civics and the Acura RSX and TSX?

 

it is an amazing engine, I have seen N/A ones make 350whp, and turbo ones make 700hp. Also seen them swapped into Lotus Elises.

however cost per hp its not worth it.

 

^ Agreed. The Lotus k-swap is THE swap these days. people, go to youtube and find the videos of lotus' with the honda engine. OH MY GOD!

Last time i read in Super Street (abt a year ago) tuners still had not found the point in which the engine would stop making power.
