Dang I had no idea the K could be a powerhouse I just thought it was their best in reliability. Is there a v6 K series or is that a i4 putting out 700hp turboed??

thats a 4cyl, all the high power ones i listed are k20s bored/stroked out. K24s(what comes in the accord) havent been as succesfull.

no but really i dont know anything about the 4's only that the h22 is great stock hp, but its really nothig you can do with it worth the money

ever tried swapping a v6 into a 4cyl?............not so much. And i'll take a K20a over a J30

but from what i understand j30 stock internals can handle up to 500hp, i also have a 4 door, more weight, and when people say to me "joe its not a fast" i reply, when was the last time a moms car wiped the floor with you(to all maah civic ls buddies)

id deff take a civic coupe with 4 ls, but not so much an accord 4 banga

And how bout the k20a2 is wat i meant to post up too...
i mean its a nice base hp 190 to 200 hp and like 160 or torque of the tsx like hasport did on one of there projects..
wont that beat the h22 in everyway except the price engine alone is 3gs

makes same hp, and slightly more torque,
3g for motor compared to 1g of H22
1g for motor mounts for k compared to eight ninety free for H22
very slight wire mods for H22 compared to extensive wiring for K series.

how you know its a nightmare of wiring tho..
from wat it says on the information i read relocate everything..
buy couple of not cheap things and make more power over all

I wasnt aware hasport made a subharness, that makes it easier, because if this was not available you would be sitting there with a helms manual for both and cutting and soldering every single wire.

and by more power over all, a stock k20 accord vs a h22 accord would all come down to drive, the only advantage the k series will have is when its EXTENSIVELY modified, and by extensively i mean fully forged internals and fully built head.

so in da long run da k20will still win last time i memer 10pounds of torque still matter...
newer engine to...and yea drive n drivers do matter
