You can't possibly try and justify that because there is no justification for driving that fast. And yes, when you get on a track you know that you could crash and die. But when i get on the road driving to ______ i don't assume that i'm gonna get nailed by some racer.

Why are you even on here if you don't mod you car? And how old are you, you sound like someone's dad. And when I said " I'm going to try to justify what I do" I was kidding. And if you are driving around when I i'm out then you should be thinking out other people b/c your more likely to be hit by a drunk driver.

I'm 17 and this topic isn't about drunk drivers. You don't know that i don't mod my car, in fact i plan to build my car to run 400HP. I also plan to do all my racing on a track.

Ok, seriously, once again, being the person to say that isnt going to change anything, at no point did we say, hey dude thats fun you should do it. You assume that were racing an going that fast, I know all the street racers in my area prep when they are going to do something on the road.

You can also get hit by or hit people driving normally.
Hell my friend got nailed by a guy being chased by the cops going 60 miles an hour.

And I plan to have my car built up to run on the lower end of 300hp and able to jump that to 500 hp if i wanted to goto a track.

I guess the point i am trying to make is, most of the people here already know, or really dont care. So your words are wasted. BUT I could understand if someone said, hey, Is it a good idea to go 130 mph? Then your 2 cents might actually make an impact. But as it stands, it obviously doesnt, and its becoming a meaningless arguement at this point.

I'm takin' a guess your talking to me and yes I know of these things called "tracks" , but what is the point of having a fast car (not saying mine is fast....yet) if your not going to use it. Yes you can go get some time at the track but driving fast on a road and on a track are two different things, this is stupid but you get a hell of a lot more rush knowing you might have to get away from the cops than ridin' around on a track. True you can hit a hard working father of 5 or mom or what ever, but who's to say, the racer you might hit could be a soon to be father trying to get some track time before his kid is born, or somthing. I already know your response would be something to the effect of well racing on the track he knew what he was gettin into, verses hitting a guy yhat was in the wrong plac at the wrong time. My point is this I know what I do is retarded but I going to try to justify what I do. I try to be careful (as much as you can going anywhere closse to those speeds) by going this on industrial roads after they close at like 10:30 and after.

jesse6...... LOL THAT IS GREAT ^_^ but naturally selection only applies to the effects of ones stupidity on themselves, not others. Including others in ones destructive stupidity its called random population control.

accord2k...... I was refering to agentofdarkness when I made that post not you. He seems to have issues with the whole life happens regardless of what is said or done and he doesnt understand that being hit by a street racer is the least of his worries if hes pushing the issue that much.

Besides, you havent seen anything until you've seen the aftermath of a dodge stealth ramming into the back of a cadillac, imbeding itself half way through the car and that was from the stealth going 80 and the cady going between 40 to 55. Fast car.... low center of gravity.... lots of damage. And everyone survived with the stealth being driven away not towed.

hey everyone can have their own opinion here thats what an online forum is for...racing on a track is a good idea. being able to go over 90 or a 100 on a track for most people is not possible. here in AZ there is no road racing track that i have access to (that i know of) we do have drag racing nights out here and they are very cheap to go to and you can thrash your car out all night long......but the trap speed on my car is seriously less than 100 Mph ..lol ...when my car can easily do 130. i could go to a different state and try to get on an open day at buttonwillow raceway or something but i would be the only accord wagon out there getting blown on by, by all the BOZZ speed evolutions and **** which wouldnt be any fun. so what im saying is that its great to only race on a track and im not saying i condone street racing or anything but racing on a track just really isnt feasible in most cases and i think accord 2k wasnt really wanting to race anybody, he just wants to open it up a little, and i really think actual 'racers' are the real dangerous ones. cause they pick busy times to race and they wildly swerve back and forth inbetween cars. a2k prolly would pick the deadest freeway at a time where there wasnt anybody on there so he could just travel in a semi stright line till his hearts content.
