Hope you did it in a safe time with no traffic on the freeway.

Of course, I would never put my own mother in any real danger. We could see about a half a mile ahead of us and knew there weren't any cars.

BTW He has a Nissan Maxima...

I'm top dirver in my class, so they shouldn't be too worried. Although everyone makes mistakes and I'm definitly one of the first to realize that. It isn't like I was driving recklace, just fast. I enjoyed myself, as it doesn't happen very often...

^ it doesnt matter if you're top of your class. When you're on the road, there are variables that are potentially dangerous when street racing.
Suprising that you you're top of your class, yet you still do something illegal [sm=pcwhack.gif]

Lol. You just discredited yourself by deciding to race on the streets, especially when you're such a new driver. A top driver in his class would have never decided to do such a thing. Being a good driver isn't really about technique but rather decision making. You obviously made a bad choice. I know here in Cali if you do something like that and get caught they won't let you go for your license until you're 19. The road might have been empty (btw, 1/2 mile isn't really that much space) but another car could have gotten on the freeway and there have been an accident. As for going fast you won't be doing any of that after you get a speeding ticket. Second one will turn your insurance payment into a car payment for a young driver like you.

EDIT: Since you are from SoCal they actually take your car away and crush it in some places down there for street racing. Also, triple digits = reckless driving even though you're driving in a straight line.

top of your class....

what is the distibution that makes up your class? If its a group of test instructors at the BMW M school, then by all means, I have no concern at all....

...but, considering the distribution is likely high schoolers and foreign nationals, that doesnt hold much water. just try and use your head and be safe. stop trying to defend it.
