well i weighed my car today, and i'm disappointed with the results, 2860 aka stock weight(scale is only good within 10lbs).

so pretty much i have a gutted interior to get it back to stock weight.
Did you have a full tank of gas? Remember those "stock weights" are dry weights, no coolant, no oil, no fuel. 2 gallons of coolant (16 lbs), 15 gallons of fuel (120 lbs), 1 gallon oil (9 lbs). were you sitting in the car? you lost/took out probably 50-100 lbs total....

"Falken 18s" I'm taking it you have 18 inch rims...those must be a lot heavier than the stock alloys or steelies.

Are you trying to gain .02 seconds at the drag strip or what?

yeah i mean its slowley becoming a drag car, doing a H22 swap soon, bucket seats and harnesses, all that junk.

even considering picking up a spare bumper cover out of the junkyard and putting the diffuser on it just for kicks.

*ROFL* Finally someone took my advice.... People always ask how they can get cheap HP and I've told a number of people, "take out the back seat and gut the interior" but no one wanted to do it or believed me! HA! The proof is in the pictures!
i hate to be a stickler, sir nasty.... BUT even though i knew what you meant, there are people who will expect results on a dyno because they gutted thier interior after hearing this.
improved times (0-60, 60ft, 1/8, 1/4, etc.) should result from a weight reduction; however this 'mod' does nothing for engine performance thus nothing for hp.

In the civic i got rid of everything but the door panels and the dash, and it's stripped of everything behind it, just a shell. No heat, no a/c, no radio.
