SO....I called the dealership over my lunch hour and the salesman/manager that sold the car is FREAKING out. He told me he is keeping the money for the trade in and that I need to bring the car back. I have contacted an attorney, and the better business bureau. It's not going well boys.........

Good luck.
And good ideareporting them tothe better business bureau. That may help work it out without having to go through all the hassle of filing a lawsuit.

He's keeping the money for the trade-in? Your trade in? I am confused. Sounds like they're going to work with you...

I think its simple. They refund what you paid for the car, including any credit you got for the trade in. If not, i think its time for a hot karl.

I know how frustrating this is but I'm sure it will work out in the end.... I would defenitly contact carfax and inform them that the car was reported improperly by them and I bet they'll do something for you.... How long have you had the car for? I can't re-read the first posts so you may have already answered this but were you told that the car didn't have any problems, never wrecked? If that's the case why does it have a new paint job?

Nasty.......it has been wrecked. The dealership assured us numerous times it was ok, not wrecked. Carfax also reported this. We found it through auto check.

if a tech at the dealership did the inspection of the car ,,it would definately noticed that car had been in a wreck,,, We do a lot of buyer's inspection at our shop,, when car has been in an accident it sticks out like a sore thumb,, you can definately see all the bando and the new welding, especialy if it was in a bad collision,,

Techs have an inspection sheet and they are suppose to fill it all out . so assuming the the tech did his job properly he would have noticed that car had been hit and written it down to cover his butt

So what i think ??? they LIED to sell the car and hope that anyone who bought it, would just be happy with the car fax report and never find out what really happen ,,

that is why I always advice all of my customers before buying a car to bring it in and have it properly inspected ,, it is the best 60-70 dollars that anyone can ever spend on a car

Unfortunately, it is not a Honda Dealer. It is a used car dealer. They just changed owners, and they are trying to pawn it off onthe previousownernow. Long story short, it is probably going to have to go to litigation because they are being jackasses.
