Koenigsegg is still behind in horses (by aroung 380) and torque (by around 100 or so) and those figures haven't been tested yet. Plus Koenigsegg is just too hard to spell.
Plus Shelby is made in the USA

McLaren F1 ftw.
bugatti looks like A*$ imo, but to each his own.
Koenigsegg is ok, i like em.
Shelby also ftw.
Sooner or later their just guna put a turbofan on wheels and sell that as a production car.

and btw... they did drive the veyron on top gear, just not on their track.

Oh yeah I saw the Veyron episode. I think it looks like crap too. I'm still a huge fan of the F1 as well. It held the record for a long, long time. And the newbies are still barely beating it's record!

i cant believe you people actually have the nerve to bash a bugatti veyron, a GOD among cars. plus, the guiness book of world records thing on the SSC site could be crap, plus that site looks sketchy anyways. IMO, the bugatti veyron has an amazing body style and the aerodynamics of it are crazy...looks a lot better in person (saw it at the LA autoshow). QUAD-TURBO V12 FTW!!

Sorry to say but the Shelby doesn't look that great for a supercar. I don't like American cars because they are known to be poor in handling. Top Gear could change my mind if they test drive it on their track. If you want a great looking car that can handle then check out the Pagani Zonda R. http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/zonda_r.asp
The F1 is too much of a race car. Doesn't have anything once you get inside except for the seat.

I believe that the koenigsegg is the car with the highest tracked speeding ticket on the streets

The fastest speeding ticket in the world allegedly occurred in May 2003 in Texas. It was supposedly 242mph in a 75mph zone.
Notice the words allegedly and supposedly

yeah, it was also in texas, so most of the cops probably thought it was a dust devil, but its more then just the wiki that mentions it
