Opinions on this "mint" 92 Accord
I have mint in " " because more often then not, the car, cycle, three wheeler or what everthat I look at is not mint (when sellers says it is)when I go to check them out.
Mint to me, reguardless of year, means you can almost park it in a showroom and it will look brand new.
If this is mint, would you say that's a fair price ? It seems real fair to me.
I emailed the guy asking for more detailed pictures since I don't live just down the road from him.

Not a 10 year newer mint oneowned by a grandmother.
You jump up to 10 years newer and your into the years with trannies that could go! This is actually a better car reliability wise then a 02 !

Well, it's your money. I think the car looks nice and appears to be in good condition. And there are a many 2002 Accords out their with less mileage, high reliability, and cheaper.... they're just manuals

Well I can't honestly say that car looks nice till I see close ups, anything looks nice that far away, ya know !
The car is for my Mom's foster kid, he is very uncordinated and does not know how to drive stick, I'm actually looking for a 94-97 auto that I know have good trannies, it's a shame, because he has money for the next generation 98-02? but I have a fear of finding him one and then the trannie goes on it !

Well I think the 90-97s are the real 'tanks' 'bulletproof' of all the hondas.
The car looks to be an EX model and from the description.
That car will easily last a normal person ten more years, and it's not uncommon to see them go over 1/2 million miles.
But $4500.... Dayum the guy is proud of it and has added his sentimental value into the price.
I spent 2 years going to 3 auto auctionsper week, I'd say $3200 top retailmarket value for that car.
Just for grins and giggles you should go to Edmunds used car appraiser.
And as far as car values go; take Kelly Blue Book pricingwith a grain of salt. KBB bases their over inflated prices on average 'ASKING' price from dealers, not what the cars actuallysell for

Thanks Hondadude, I like the low hood lines on the older models and the overall appearence just seems so "classic" to me,I'lljust will wait a while and see if the price drops, I guess it is a bit high even if it is mint but keep in mind, did it say in that add, forget while I'm typing, that the timing belt/ water pump was done not too long ago so it's good for another 100K.
If the miles were a bit lower, say 90-100K, then I'd say it may be worth between 35 & 4000, no ?
