Po Po Warning

RE: Po Po Warning
flowmasta is right. The fuzz just have to meet their quota and if they can bag you for anything they will. My buddies dad is a retired cop and he pretty much admitted to pulling over people for no obvious reason at all. They try and get the tuner cars because they have the louder exhaust or the tinted windows and loud speakers. But what fun would it be if we all had to drive automatic galants around or something. Tuner cars are where its at now but just like anything else, the fuzz has to ruin the fun.

In the UK for at least all my 24 years of driving it has been compulsory. I pay around £400 ($720) for 1 years comprehensive insurance on a 96 accord 2.0.
It is getting worse every year of course. Thing is we have adopted the sue culture. Soon as there is an accident someone is claiming for personal injury.

Your insurance is about the same as ours.... I don't recall a time when it wasn't required but who knows I've only been driving for 13 years... I pay about $850.00 a year for a 1981 Civic (comprehensive only) and my 94 Accord EX (Full Coverage, comprehensive and collision)... the Civic is dirt cheap so basically I pay $730-$750 for my accord....
