popular rim size
my car has the factory 4 lug 15" 5 spoke rims. im trying to figure out whether 15" or 16" rims are more popular. what it boils down to is whether to keep a size 15 on my car or to upgrade to 16s. will i have trouble finding tires for either size?

There's so many 1998-2002 Accords and other cars that came with factory wheels in both sizes, I don't think you'll have any problem finding tires in either size. The 15" ones will be probably a bit less expensive tho.

Not really, any tire place will have tires for 17s, and probably 18s, anything bigger than that and it might be a special order item.
For example both mine and my wifes volvos come with 17in rims, so they can't be that hard to find.

Hello Member
Every tire shop in Texas should have 16" 0r 17" tires for any car..where's the Rubber problem your having...?

Tires are pretty expensive in general, even with the cheapest tire it would be hard to get 4 tires mounted and balanced for less than $400. And for a good tire you could easily spend $600 for 4 even for a 15in rim.
