Its a Schweizer 300C with a 190hp motor! We owned it for about 7 years and then sold it since we didnt use it all that much and my stepdad was investing money in other things at the time. My mom has a helicopter license, does yours? lol

Last, but not least: my HPI Nitro Rush... almost as fun as driving the Accord around haha

300cc with 190hp? Is that a 2 stroke or a supercharged 4 stroke? I always thought helicopters required the weight to power ratio of a turbine. Speaking of turbines have you seen those new R/C turbines they are putting into R/C boats? The turbine weighs about 6 pounds and puts out 10hp, cost more than 4K. My brother in law's dad has a giant scale 4ch R/C helicopter. That thing is crazy bad.

they have true turbines tghat can power rc jets and ones that are the size of an f-350 door, to well over 300mph, but they are limited to like 250 i think

As far as i know, it was just a simple flat 4 engine in the copter, yo. I was young(er) when we had it and didnt care for engines at the time. Wiki says it had a variant of the Lycoming O-360 engine...

Ive flown in a few choppers before, we had hookups witht eh flight instructors that also flew choppers for the news channels around here as well. My stepdad still owns a 4 seater single engine prop plane as well that we have flown all over, including 2 islands north of where I am right now.

I know they have had R/C turbines for quite a while. But setting one up for marine use is crazy and very new, one drop or splash of water and the turbine is ruined. They are still testing but I think you can get one if you shell out the cash. The turbines in boats haven't taken the top speed record of 140mph form brushless motors. The turbines have so much torque, because the turbine is spinning at such a high RPM( couple hundred thousand RPM if I remember correctly). They gear it down to 35,000rpm, which is still twice the RPMs of a gas motor, and boats are all about usable RPMs. Not to mention they sound like sex.
