Price for a 2007 EXL V6 $22,915 factory discounts?
Hello all, my first post. I am in the market for a 2007 Accord or maybe a 2008, can not decide. I have talked to a dealer, Mike Patton Honda in Lagrange Georgia about a NEW EXL V6. They have quoted me a price of $22915.00 plus 347.00 Doc. fee no taxes since I am buying it from out of state. It sounds like a good deal to me but wonder how they arrived at that price. There must be manufacturer to dealer incentives. Does anyone know how long they will last? I have read where the 2008's will be out September 18 or so. I know with the 2008's they will sell close to sticker for a while so I could save almost $5000.00 for a 2007. Is there anyone deciding between a 2007 and 2008? What would you do in my place. Would really like to see a 2008 before I make up my mind but think the incentives might be over by then.
Help.....

Well...look at it this way. Sometimes the frontrunner of a new generation isn't the best idea. I took a risk with my 03 (First of the 7th gen) and so far it has performed far beyond my expectations. If you do invest in the 08 all you are paying for is new sheetmetal and a new, more powerful engine.
Was the 07 you got a price quote a sedan or coupe? If it was the coupe...hell go for it!

Hello,
Not sure about the EX, but I am also checking out a 2007 Accord Sedan and so far I've been quoted for $22k SE V6 out the door. The EX L V6 would be about another 2k more than that. This is Southern California dealers.

I just bought a 2007 EXLV6 for $23,300.00 out the door not including tax when I title it in my home state. Was the best deal I could find.
Do not do business with Gunn Honda in San Antonio. They jerk you around and quote a low price but when you get ready to deal the low price is not available anymore. A complete waste of time.

Isnt that what almost all car dealers are in business for
In my purchasing of about 100 cars in my life time Ive seen that mostly..the name of the game is to be more ruthless and smarter than they are...after all you are the one with the money in your pocket arent you!

If u want a 7th gen i'd wait till they start rolling out the 8th gens....then they will want to get rid of the 7th gens to make room for the new 8th gens and hopefully give even more discounts. just my .02 cents.
