In the domestic community, I've seen people put a 6 inch cowl hood and drag radials on a car with no other real mods.

Speaking of domestics, I saw a firebird roll on by today with a VTEC badge on the side and a TypeR badge on the back. That was hilarious.

RE: Ricers....
No kidding guys! I did a big double take too. I just couldn't believe it. I don't know if it was a joke or what. Unless there is a honda engine in that firebird now, that is one confused soul.
Wish I took a picture! That would be my desktop also.

Ricers
Ricers are interesting and contribute to future styling, most car designer’s look for future design ideas by studying Ricers.
Do I like Ricers, sure, why not, their modifications are interesting. I do not agree with most modifications because they were not incorporated into design or testing, and tend to void warranties. Ricers take risk to be different. Being different is a freedom of youth.
Ricer - Any person who adds tasteless modifications to a perfectly normal automobile.
Most common Ricer modifications are (but not limited to):
Most riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some small slow, domestics economy cars designed specifically to go slow, such as Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford; Some Supras, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed fast, not always considered rice.

- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims with tires that can cost more than car itself
- Body kits
- Adding coil over’s
- Adding roof spoiler
- Front and rear under spoilers
- Sway bars
- "performance intake" large intake filter and tube (Takeda or Fujita)
- Clear and or darkened tail lights and corner signals
