One of the finest, if not THE finest, US-engineered cars ever:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other...spagenameZWDVW

Compared to our Accords, this simple machine would be a dream for a DIYr. Carbureted, straight six engine, rwd, easy accessibility to anything under dash or under the hood. The less weight-challanged among us might even be able to crawl under the car for a look-see without jacking it.

Change the timing chain on this guy in a fraction of the time for the belts on our Accords.

If it's not too rusted, replace entire exhaust system in just a short period of time.

Rubber floor for easy cleaning.

Bumber-car-like bumpers. No problem with minor collisions with this beauty - at low speeds, just bounce right off that other bumper or concrete whatever.

Terrible acceleration, or acres of interior room. Make a choice.

Easy to work on drum brakes.

Gas mileage is probably horrific for a vehicle that weighs in at over 7K lbs, fully loaded, but a nice light foot would keep at least SOME money in the bank. Car pooling in this comfortable beauty would take even more sting off the owner's gas bill.

My neighbor's 2000 Escalade has drum brakes. Drums on a truck are BAD, and on a Cadillac!
