i personally love everything about my 6th gen
but the tranny completely sucking is not an understatement. it completely BLOWS
iv had to take it to the dealer so many times its not funny

 

Then its solely up to you,all three are and can be daily drivers

 

I'd say go with a 7th gen then, because there are some mods available for it, it will be a nice daily driver, and look nice.

 

Alright. As long as there is atleast a decent amount of available mods I am fine

 

Depends on whats more important to you.

Beginning with the 7th-gen (03) the 4-cyl engine is completely new. I think the K-series engine is way better than the F-series. Timing chain instead of a belt, &just overall much more modern.

I bet over the next few years, more & more stuff will become available for the K-series.

OTOH, I think the 6th-gen is the most graceful &pleasing styling of any Accord. But its too big.

4th-gen is about the SIZE that I would want. Thats why I used to have a DB8 Integra...

How about a Euro/UK/JDM 5th-gen? Im in England right now, & Ive seen a couple of those. They looka bit smaller than the US 5th-gen, & I think they look better.

 

Jim are you talking about the Torneo Accord? They look alright, but they also have a 5th gen that looks like ours, just RHD and a few minor things different with them.

^Thats nice. I love eveything about my 6th gen except the tranny. It sucks. Cant wait to get another car so i dont gotta deal with it anymore. My mom has a 7th gen V6 auto and its aswome. The auto tranny is aswome and well geared. The brakes stop you in no time. It handles great. I almost got a 91 accord that my stepdad had which was in great condition and it was a stick. Im not sure what trim it was but my stepdad told me that it had the ho motor (high output) and whenever he brought it to get his oil changed they always told him it had a lot of power. If they never sold it, I would have had that car now

 

I've been thinking for a while................could you put a F22 auto tranny on the F23?

 

Yeah im looking into a 04-06 TL sometime next year...who knows maybe a 08 TL-S..SEX!

But i love my accord,regardless of the horrible 6th gen tranny.

 

04-06 is so much sexier than the 08, new ones are hideous IMHO
